SUMMARY OF A WHITE HERON

                                                                                                                                                                                                A little girl, named Sylvia lived in a manufacturing town 
 and was transferred to a farm where her grandmother lives. As days went by, her life was changed since she lived at the farm, she became a nature lover and adventurous. At night, when Sylvia was going home with her cow named Mistress Mooly from the pasture, they passed to the wood where she saw a creeping shadow whistling, a tall man who carried a gun over his shoulder. The lad asked Sylvia if he can stay at their home this night. And Sylvia help him. At home, as they arrived Mrs. Tilley was standing at the doorway saw the three of them and asked who was the man. The man introduce himself and then asked for some milk in order to satisfy his stomach. After the dinner, Mrs. Tilley talked to the hunter relating to Sylvia and their past. In reply, the hunter discuss why he was there and he emphasize the white heron he was looking for and offered ten dollars to anybody who could show it to him. Late night came, the young sport man and Mrs. Tilley were sound asleep but the little Sylvia was still awake  and curious to where the white heron could be found. So, she decided to went on the forest and followed the pasture path 

through the woods, there, she saw the huge and tall pine tree. She bravely climbed up the tree until she reach the top of it. There, she saw the wide environment and considered it as the world. Sylvia saw how beautiful the nature was, she looked down to the ground and searched for the white heron. Until the bird perched on the trunk near to her. She witnessed how beautiful the white heron was and so, she decided hot to tell this secret to the hunter..
